The department is looking for individuals of all types with a desire to find their calling while serving a diverse and rapidly growing town. Opportunities to serve range from responding to fire and EMS incidents to supporting the department through community education and administration.
No experience is necessary and all training is paid for by the department and conducted either in-house or at the Delaware State Fire School. Firefighters and EMS-Only members work hand-in-hand with Kent County EMS staff to respond to a variety of emergencies and operate in many areas of responsibility.
